Who We Are

Who is Grace Fellowship?

We are community of people called by God to live according to His Word and declare His gospel by radically loving the Lord and loving others. We do this because Jesus Christ is our Redeemer and our example for how to live as His bride, abiding in Him, walking according to the power of the Holy Spirit. We are a diverse group of people, from different backgrounds and our brokenness connects to find our wholeness in Jesus Christ alone.

The church is not a building but a body. We are the church: the body of Christ gathered under His headship. We are living stones of a spiritual house (1 Pet. 2:4); fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone (Eph. 2:20); rooted in the historic declarations of the faith, including the Apostle's and Nicene Creeds, continuing in the spirit and tradition of the Reformation, always reforming and never waivering from grace of God that saves us through faith.

OUR MISSION

Grace Fellowship exists to make and teach disciples by the power of the Holy Spirit; who worship the one true God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the neighborhood and the nations.

OUR VISION

Psalm 96:2 is the verse by which our Vision for the church was created. It says: Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Just like our Mission states, our primary focus at Grace Fellowship is to equip disciples of Jesus to T.E.L.L. of His salvation, because our LORD is worthy of praise and blessing.

T stands for Teach Truth | E stands for Exalt Christ | L stands for Love the LORD | L stands for Lead in the Spirit

Because God's Word is our foundation and authority for all matters regarding the Christian life, we value bible-centered preaching and teaching (Teach Truth). As we are faithful to preach and teach the whole counsel of God and all that it says, Christ is exalted in the church (Exalt Christ). As we exalt Christ, our affections are stirred to praise the LORD for who He is and what He's done for us (Love the LORD). Out of this love, and by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us, we are able to lead and build one another up in spiritual growth and maturity "to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Lead in the Spirit).
